What is a distance-learning course?

Many courses offered through Pensacola Theological Seminary and PCC Graduate Studies are video-recorded. They are available to complete in your home, allowing you to continue your present ministry and responsibilities. Students experience the instruction as if sitting in a classroom on campus.

Quality instruction gives distance-learning students the same advantages on-campus students receive.

How many courses may I take by DVD/video?

Most of our seminary and graduate degrees permit up to one third of their courses to be taken via distance learning.

The Master of Ministry, M.A. in Bible Exposition, and M.S. in Educational Leadership degrees are available in a blended-degree format allowing you to take the majority of the required courses by distance learning. The remaining courses will be completed through on-campus modules or summer sessions.

There is no limit to the number of courses taken for personal benefit rather than credit.

What is the cost?

Tuition is $540 per course, plus $150 Services Fee and $135 ($200 international) Video Deposit/Shipping Fee, all due when registering for a course. Fees are nonrefundable and nontransferable. Your account will be credited $100 if all recordings are returned in good condition.

May I take courses for personal benefit?

Yes. Without the pressure of tests and papers, those seeking further training without seeking a degree may take any distance-learning course for personal benefit without academic credit. Tuition is $270 per course, $75 Services Fee, and $135 ($200 for international) Video Deposit / Shipping Fee. Your account will be credited $100 if all recordings are returned in good condition. You may register online for a course, or by mailing in a PDF form that you print yourself.

How do I enroll?

New students, first apply to the Seminary online, or by mail (PDF).

Once accepted or continuing enrollment, register online for a course, or by mail (PDF), or by phone (850) 478-8496, ext. 5244 (Distance-Learning Office).
